Shipping & Returns
Every painting on susankendallart.com is an original, hand-made plein-air oil on canvas. Here’s how we ship and handle returns.
Where we ship
We ship across the United States. International shipping is available on request — please contact us before purchasing so we can confirm a quote and lead time.
Lead time and transit
Most paintings ship within 7 business days of order. Oils need time to cure before crating, and some pieces are varnished before shipping. Domestic transit is typically 3–7 business days via USPS or UPS Ground; larger pieces ship freight and can take 1–2 weeks.
How paintings are packed
Smaller works ship in custom-cut foam-lined boxes; larger works ship in a wooden crate. Every painting is wrapped in glassine paper to protect the surface, then padded with rigid foam and corner-blocked so it cannot move in transit. We insure every shipment for the full purchase price.
Returns and damage
If a painting arrives damaged, please email susankendall@comcast.net within 7 days of delivery with photos of the packaging and the artwork — we’ll work with the carrier on the insurance claim and replace or refund.
Because each piece is an original work of art, we don’t accept returns for change of mind. If you’d like to see additional photos, video, or details of a piece before you purchase, just ask.
Shipping costs
Shipping is calculated at checkout based on the size and weight of the work. Local pickup in San Clemente, CA is also available — choose “Local Pickup” at checkout and we’ll be in touch to arrange.
